The 25,000 square foot Multi-Care employee parking lot was originally designed as an asphalt lot. After learning that the storm system alone would cost $300,000.00 they were looking for a cost saving alternative. Pervious concrete was the answer.
Global Contractors LLC was awarded the construction contract for Phase 2 of the Point Defiance Park Loop Trail, a multi-modal safety and accessibility project that builds a paved trail to separate pedestrians and cyclists from vehicle traffic.
The new Athletic Complex features four all-weather turn baseball fields. Two full size basketball courts and two all-weather turf soccer fields. The entire complex is lighted for any night time activity.
Primary features of the Burien Town Square park include a civic plaza with stage, an open lawn amphitheater with views to Mt. Rainier, demonstration gardens and integrated art.
